Set within the unspoilt Cabo de Gata National Park in the Las Negras community, the property is within easy driving of Almeria airport (c. 40 minutes) and approximately two hours drive from Murcia and Granada airports. The Las Negras community is set on the beach surrounded by tall hills. The Almeria region is the only official desert in Europe; perfect for a sunny escape. The Almeria region has it’s own unique sub-culture and approach to life, well attuned to a relaxing sun holiday.
There’s plenty to do for everyone, catering for the outdoor enthusiast (with diving, quad bike riding, sea kayaking, tennis, swimming and excellent walking), history and culture (located on the ‘Ruta de Las Piratas’ or Route of the Pirates, near to the Western film sets) and plenty of opportunity to just relax (beautiful, unspoilt beaches are within easy reach). If one should get bored of the relaxed pace of life within Las Negras, the Cabo de Gata is right on one’s doorstep and if city life calls, the city of Almeria offers city lifestyle and amenities within a 45 minute drive.
Within Las Negras there is a small supermarket, a tobacconist, several different shops and numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. Cashpoint machines, pharmacies and other services are 15 minutes drive in Campohermoso and San Jose. WiFi is available in several local cafes and in the Cala Grande and Cala Chica hotels.
